NBA: Los Angeles Clippers 101, Brooklyn 95

LOS ANGELES, March 24 (UPI) -- Chris Paul scored 29 points and sealed the victory with a late 3-point play Saturday, carrying the Los Angeles Clippers over Brooklyn 101-95.

Paul added 11 assists and tallied 11 of the Clippers' final 13 points, including a double-clutch basket from the lane and a subsequent free throw in the closing seconds.

DeAndre Jordan provided 13 points and 12 rebounds for Los Angeles, which recorded a second straight victory for the first time in March.

The Nets got 18 points and nine assists from Deron Williams in losing for only the third time in 10 road games.

Brook Lopez also netted 18 points for Brooklyn.
