SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, March 9 (UPI) -- Mike Aviles drove in three runs and Luis Figueroa added a two-run double Saturday in Puerto Rico's 6-3 win over Venezuela in World Baseball Classic play.
Angel Pagan's RBI hit in the fifth inning broke a 2-2 tie and put Puerto Rico ahead for good.

Nelson Figueroa (1-0) posted the Pool C victory with five innings of two-run ball, during which he allowed five hits.
Puerto Rico (2-0) next faces the Dominican Republic Sunday.
Martin Prado and Pablo Sandoval provided RBI for Venezuela (0-2), which will play Spain Sunday.
