NBA: Portland 136, San Antonio 106

SAN ANTONIO, March 8 (UPI) -- Damian Lillard highlighted a stunning offensive effort with 35 points Friday, propelling Portland to a 136-106 thrashing of San Antonio.

The Trail Blazers scored the most points against the Spurs in San Antonio since 1990. Portland also won the season series against the Spurs by handing them only their fourth home loss of the year.

Portland hit a sizzling 61 percent from both inside and outside the 3-point arc. The Trail Blazers went 13-of-21 from long range.

LaMarcus Aldridge pitched in 26 points for Portland, J.J. Hickson had 23 and 11 rebounds and Eric Maynor scored 20.

Tim Duncan produced 18 points for San Antonio, which had won three in a row.

Portland's lead going into the fourth quarter was only eight, but the Trail Blazers put the game away by scoring 46 in the final period.
