UNIONDALE, N.Y., Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Jiri Tlusty keyed a come-from-behind third period with a pair of goals and an assist Monday, helping rally Carolina to a 6-4 win over the New York Islanders.
With the Hurricanes trailing 3-2 coming into the final frame, Tlusty and Alexander Semin scored 5 minutes apart to put Carolina ahead to stay.

Tlusty added another assist for four points and Semin also contributed a pair of helpers as the Hurricanes improved to 3-0-1 in their last four games.
Eric Staal provided a goal and an assist and Cam Ward made 24 saves in the victory.
The Islanders dropped their fifth straight despite a goal and a helper each from John Tavares, Matt Moulson and Lubomir Visnovsky.
Rick DiPietro made 25 saves for New York.
