In a change of format this year, three players from each conference will take part in separate competitions with the two winners then going head-to-head for the title.

The 3-point shooting contest will include Indiana's Paul George, Cleveland's Kyrie Irving, New York's Steve Novak, New Orleans' Ryan Anderson, San Antonio's Matt Bonner and Golden State's Stephen Curry. Minnesota's Kevin Love, who won the event last year, is on the injured list.

The All-Star Game will be played Feb. 17 in Houston.
