CHARLOTTE, N.C., Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Al Hoford hit 13-of-17 shots during a big all-around game Friday, lifting Atlanta to a 101-91 decision over Charlotte.

The Hawks won their fourth straight and improved to 4-2 on the road. Charlotte had won five of its previous six contests and missed out on a chance to equal its total number of victories (7) from all of last season.

Horford scored 26 points and claimed 13 rebounds, sending Atlanta to as much as a 13-point lead in the final period. He also had three blocks.

Kyle Korver made four 3-point shots and scored 16 points, Jeff Teague added 13 for the Hawks and Josh Smith had 10.

Charlotte was led by Ramon Sessions with 22 points. Kemba Walker and Jeff Taylor had 16 each.

Atlanta shot 53 percent as a team and made 11-of-22 from beyond the 3-point arc. The Hawks' long-range shooting made up for their 21 turnovers and the fact they made 15 fewer free throws than did the Bobcats.
