Jason Kubel rallied the Diamondbacks into a 2-2 tie in the sixth with a two-run double.

Young's homer in the ninth came on a 2-2 pitch after Kimbrel had retired the first batter of the inning.

David Hernandez (1-1) picked up the win by pitching the eighth. J.J. Putz turned in a perfect ninth for his 14th save.
