MIAMI, April 28 (UPI) -- Hanley Ramirez broke a long slump with a game-winning RBI single Saturday, handing the Miami Marlins a 3-2 comeback win over Arizona.
Trailing 2-0 for much of the game, the Marlins cut their deficit to a single run on an RBI single from Jose Reyes in the seventh, and an inning later Logan Morrison tied it up with a solo homer.
In the ninth, pinch-hitter Giancarlo Stanton collected a one-out single off Brad Ziegler (0-1) and went to second on an out. Reyes was intentionally walked to get to the slumping Ramirez, who came into the at-bat saddled with an 0-for-26 streak.
But the Marlins' all-star third baseman singled to left for the victory, which evened Miami's four-game set against the Diamondbacks at 1-1.
The late rally made a winner of Steve Cishek (2-0), who tossed a scoreless top of the ninth.
Miami starter Anibal Sanchez struck out 14 over seven innings, yielding two runs on three hits over seven frames.
Ian Kennedy started for the D-Backs and allowed only one run over seven innings.
