NBA: Philadelphia 93, Toronto 75

TORONTO, April 11 (UPI) -- Thaddeus Young scored 17 points off the bench Wednesday, helping Philadelphia pull away from Toronto in the fourth period for a 93-75 win.

The 76ers had only a three-point lead early in the final quarter, but outscored the Raptors during the closing 12 minutes 30-18.

Philadelphia won its second straight, having started the evening in seventh place in the Eastern Conference, just a game in front of New York and two ahead of Milwaukee.

The 76ers shot 53 percent from the field and held Toronto to 36.

Young hit 8-of-12 shots and Philadelphia had five other players in double figures, including Nikola Vucevic with 12 and Elton Brand with 11.

Alan Anderson and Ed Davis both had 13 points for the Raptors, who have lost four in a row.
