NHL: Winnipeg 4, Boston 2

WINNIPEG, Manitoba, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Bryan Little scored twice in a span of 2:04 of the third period Friday, breaking open a tie game and bringing the Winnipeg Jets a 4-2 win over Boston.

The Jets won their second in a row and their fourth in six games, moving within three points of Florida for the lead in the Southeast Division.

Boston's David Krejci scored 49 seconds into the final period to tie it, but Little then produced his 15th and 16th goals of the season. He beat Tuukka Rask with a wrist shot 4:16 into the stanza and did the same thing soon after, to keep the defending Stanley Cup champions from building on their four-point cushion over Ottawa in the Northeast Division.

The Bruins have dropped five out of eight.

Blake Wheeler assisted on both of Little's goals and scored one of his own late in the second period that gave Winnipeg a 2-1 lead.

Ondrej Pavelec claimed the win by stopping 31 shots. Rask made 21 saves.
