NHL: Detroit 2, Anaheim 1 (SO)

DETROIT, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Pavel Datsyuk and Todd Bertuzzi scored shootout goals Friday, lifting Detroit to a 2-1 victory over Anaheim.

The Red Wings increased the largest point total in the NHL to 76 with its 11th win in 13 games. Anaheim had captured two in a row.

George Parros of Anaheim and Justin Abdelkader of Detroit scored in the final 4 minutes of the opening period and the contest then turned into a goaltending duel between the Ducks' Jonas Hiller and the Red Wings' Joey MacDonald.

Datsyuk scored in the first shootout round, a goal that was matched by Teemu Selanne. Bertuzzi then produced the game-winner in the third round.

MacDonald stopped 29 shots to get the win. Hiller made 23 saves.

The goal for Parros was his first of the season and his 17th in 399 NHL games spread over seven seasons.
