CALGARY, Alberta, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Miikka Kiprusoff made 26 saves Friday while establishing a team record for games played, boosting the Calgary Flames to a 3-1 victory over Chicago.

Kiprusoff appeared in the 527th game of his career, breaking the club mark previously owned by Mike Vernon.

The only goal Kiprusoff allowed came from Brent Seabrook with 29 seconds left in the opening period that forged a 1-1 tie.

Jay Bouwmeester scored on the power play late in the second to put Calgary in front and Jarome Iginla supplied some insurance midway through the third with his 19th of the season.

Calgary had lost two in a row. Chicago's losing streak reached five games.

The three Calgary goals came against Ray Emery on 32 shots.
