NHL: Tampa Bay 4, Columbus 2

TAMPA, Fla., Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Martin St. Louis and Vincent Lecavalier recorded a goal and an assist each Tuesday and the Tampa Bay Lightning beat Columbus 4-2.

Nate Thompson and Mike Angelidis also scored for the Lightning, who reeled off a season-best fourth straight win going into the NHL All-Star Game break.

Mathieu Garon was solid in net for the Bolts, turning aside 22-of-24 shots to earn the victory.

Columbus got goals from Ryan Johansen and Brett Lebda in its fourth consecutive loss.

Curtis Sanford stopped 27 shots for the Blue Jackets.
