NBA: Memphis 108, New Orleans 99

MEMPHIS, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Rudy Gay scored 23 points and Marc Gasol added 20 Saturday, powering the Memphis Grizzlies over New Orleans 108-99.

The Grizzlies improved to 2-1 on a four-game homestand with the help of Mike Conley's 17 points.

Tony Allen and Marreese Speights also scored in double figures, adding 12 points apiece in the Memphis victory.

New Orleans netted a season-best 99 points but still dropped to 3-9.

Jarrett Jack put in 23 points, and Jason Smith came off the bench to collect 15 points and grab 10 rebounds for the Hornets.
