WASHINGTON, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Kevin Love notched a double-double of 20 points and 16 rebounds Sunday and Minnesota extended Washington's winless streak with a 93-72 victory.
Love added three assists and recorded three steals. Derrick Williams contributed 14 points for the Timberwolves, who racked up 10 three-pointers in the win.
Ricky Rubio scored 13 points and handed out 14 assists as Minnesota broke a two-game losing streak.
The Wizards, meanwhile, fell to 0-8 to begin the season.
Trevor Booker and Nick Young each provided 14 points in Washington's latest loss.
