Vikings fullback Felton charged with DWI

WASHINGTON, Oct. 8 (UPI) -- Mike Green's goal midway through overtime Saturday handed the Washington Capitals a 4-3 decision over Carolina.
Washington appeared on its way to a regulation-time win when Brooks Laich tallied on the power-play late in third period, but Carolina's Jussi Jokinen responded with an equalizer with less than 2 minutes left.
Alexander Semin and Jason Chimera each scored a goal and Michal Neuvirth turned aside 28-of-31 shots for the Capitals.
Eric Staal scored twice and Brian Boucher had 32 saves for Carolina.
