TORONTO, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Danny Koevermans scored twice 8 minutes apart in the second half Saturday, lifting Toronto FC past Colorado 2-1.
Koevermans got the game's first goal in the 52nd minute, scoring on the end of a cross from Ashtone Morgan, and doubled Toronto's advantage in the 60th on a similar play, connecting on a cross played in front of the goal.

Toronto (6-12-12) extended its unbeaten streak to three games with the victory.
Sanna Nyassi netted a consolation goal in the 69th for the Rapids (10-9-11), who have lost three straight MLS matches and are winless in their last four.
