CHESTER, Pa., July 29 (UPI) -- First-half goals by Pablo Mastroeni and Sanna Nyassi Friday lifted the Colorado Rapids to a 2-1 victory over Philadelphia.
Philadelphia had a five-match unbeaten streak snapped.

Mastroeni curled a left-footed shot to the far post past goalkeeper Faryd Mondragon in the 35th minute and Nyassi scored just before halftime.
Philadelphia (8-5-7) missed a chance to take the lead by itself in the Eastern Conference. The Union remained tied at the top of the conference with Columbus.
Colorado (8-6-10) jumped past Real Salt Lake into fourth place in the West.
