MLS: New England 2, Colorado 2 (tie)

COMMERCE CITY, Colo., July 23 (UPI) -- Shalrie Joseph scored on a penalty kick in the 90th minute Saturday, lifting the New England Revolution into a 2-2 draw with Colorado.

The Rapids had taken a 2-1 lead in the 82nd on a glaring goalkeeping error from the Revs' Matt Reis when Kosuke Kimura's long ball bounced over the onrushing Reis and into the net.

But New England (4-9-8) salvaged a point when Scott Palguta brought down Sainey Nyassi in the box and Joseph converted the spot kick.

Benny Feilhaber opened the scoring for the Revs in the 25th.

Caleb Folan got the other goal for the Rapids (7-6-10).
