BALTIMORE, July 20 (UPI) -- Andrew Miller and three relievers teamed up on a two-hit shutout and Jacoby Ellsbury homered twice Wednesday in Boston's 4-0 win over Baltimore.

Miller (4-1), who is in Boston's starting rotation due to injuries to Jon Lester and Clay Buchholz, overcame six walks in seven innings, limiting the Orioles to two hits while striking out three.

Matt Albers and Daniel Bard combined for 2 1/3 innings of hitless ball and Jonathan Papelbon completed the whitewash with a 1-2-3 ninth for the first-place Red Sox.

Ellsbury's solo shot in the third gave the Bosox all the offense they would need and he added another bases-empty clout in the seventh, boosting the Red Sox to a win in the rubber match of a three-game set at Camden Yards.

Boston's Dustin Pedroia, meanwhile, extended his hitting streak to a career-high 18 games, reaching base on an infield single in the fifth inning.

Baltimore's Jake Arrieta (9-7) took the loss, yielding three runs on nine hits over seven innings.
