MLS: FC Dallas 2, Chivas USA 1

CARSON, Calif., June 19 (UPI) -- Jackson Gonclaves scored a second-half goal Saturday on a mistake by Chivas USA midfielder Michael Lahoud, boosting FC Dallas to a 2-1 win over the Goats.

Lahoud was in position to clear a ball from the Chivas USA penalty area but instead allowed it to roll through to the penalty spot. That's where Jackson pounced on it and poked it past goalkeeper Dan Kennedy for the go-ahead goal.

Lahoud only 14 minutes earlier had been the hero when he scored his first goal of the season and tied the score 1-1, connecting on a long-range shot that deflected off a defender.

Brek Shea also scored his sixth goal for the season for Dallas (8-4-4), which won for the third time in five contests.

Chivas (4-6-5) suffered its second straight loss.
