MLB: Baltimore 7, Washington 4

WASHINGTON, June 19 (UPI) -- Craig Tatum drove in a pair of runs and Mark Reynolds went 3-for-4 with a homer Sunday, powering Baltimore to a 7-4 interleague win over Washington.

Tatum's RBI single in the fourth put the Orioles ahead 3-0 and his sacrifice fly in the eighth extended their lead to 7-3, while Reynolds clouted a solo shot in the sixth for Baltimore.

J.J. Hardy also collected a bases-empty homer among his two hits and Derrek Lee socked an RBI double as the O's avoided a three-game sweep at the hands of the Nationals.

Chris Jakubauskas (2-0) earned the victory, letting in three runs on six hits in five innings of work, walking one and striking out six.

Nats starter Tom Gorzelanny (2-5) was chased after 4 2/3 frames. He yielded five runs (four earned) on 10 hits as Washington saw its eight-game winning streak snapped.

Roger Bernadina and Danny Espinoza homered for the Nationals.
