Cibulkova wins, Zakopalova loses at UNICEF

'S-HERTOGENBOSCH, Netherlands, June 12 (UPI) -- Fifth-seeded Dominika Cibulkova won but No. 8 seed Klara Zakopalova fell Sunday in first-round action of the UNICEF Open in the Netherlands.

Cibulkova, of Slovakia, easily dispatched Romania's Simona Halep 6-3, 6-0 in a 63-minute victory at Autotron Rosmalen.

Meanwhile, Belgian wildcard Kirsten Flipkens upset the Czech Republic's Zakopalova, 6-3, 6-2.

Also among Sunday's winners was Lourdes Dominguez Lino of Spain, who advanced after beating Russian and 2007 champion Anna Chakvetadze, 6-4, 6-1.
