MLB: Oakland at Texas, ppd., rain

ARLINGTON, Texas, May 11 (UPI) -- A game between the Texas Rangers and the Oakland Athletics was postponed Wednesday after a rain delay of 2 hours, 14 minutes in Arlington.

The game was called in the middle of the fourth inning with the Rangers holding a 7-0 lead.

Officials said the contest would be replayed in its entirety on a unspecified date when Oakland returns to Texas later in the season.
