NBA: Denver 99, Sacramento 90

SACRAMENTO, April 2 (UPI) -- Raymond Felton helped Denver dominate the second half Friday and the Nuggets closed in on a playoff berth by downing Sacramento 99-90.

Denver, which sits in fifth place in the Western Conference, needs one more victory to wrap up its eighth post-season appearance in as many years.

The Nuggets outscored the Kings 51-39 over the third and fourth quarters to win their fifth straight game.

Felton scored 17 points, Kenyon Martin had 14 and Nene scored 12 points with 12 rebounds.

Sacramento shot only 38 percent from the field and made a mere 2-of-21 attempts from 3-point range.

Francisco Garcia paced the Kings with 17 points. Denver swept a home-and-home series, also downing the Kings in Denver by 14 points on Wednesday.
