Rose added 10 assists and Carlos Boozer contributed 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Bulls, who won for the seventh time in eight contests and moved three games ahead of second-place Miami in the East with six games to play.

Luol Deng provided 17 points for Chicago, which won despite playing without forward Joakim Noah for a third straight game (sprained right ankle).

Toronto lost its sixth straight despite 26 points apiece from DeMar DeRozan and Jerryd Bayless.
