TARVISIO, Italy, March 5 (UPI) -- American Lindsey Vonn clinched her fourth consecutive women's downhill title Saturday with a second-place finish in the World Cup race at Tarvisio, Italy.
Vonn finished with a time of 1 minute, 27.64 seconds, nearly a second behind race winner Anja Paerson of Sweden, but it built her lead over Germany's Maria Riesch to 143 points, enough to put her over the top and win the coveted crystal globe trophy.
