NHL: Toronto 3, Philadelphia 2

PHILADELPHIA, March 3 (UPI) -- Darryl Boyce beat Sergei Bobrovsky on a wrist shot with 4:30 to go in the third period Thursday, giving the Toronto Maple Leafs a 3-2 win over Philadelphia.

The Maple Leafs remained four points out of a playoff position, winning for the fourth time in six games. Philadelphia's Eastern Conference lead was reduced to three points over Boston.

Toronto faced a 2-1 deficit with time running out in the second period but Dion Phaneuf tied it with 11 seconds remaining in the stanza.

Overtime was looming before Boyce scored his fourth goal of the season.

The win went to James Reimer, who made 28 saves and bounced back from an overtime setback against Pittsburgh 24 hours earlier.

Bobrovsky stopped 30 shots but it was not enough to keep the Flyers from losing for the third time in four games.
