NHL: Colorado 4, St. Louis 3

ST. LOUIS, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Paul Stastny netted the decisive goal with 2:38 left in the game Tuesday and Colorado ended a 10-game losing streak with a 4-3 win over St. Louis.

Stastny added a pair of helpers for the Avs, who finally snapped the longest losing streak for the club since it moved from Quebec to Denver prior to the 1995-96 season.

Erik Johnson, Milan Hejduk and David Jones also scored in the contest, which was a makeup for a Feb. 1 contest that was postponed due to a blizzard in the St. Louis area.

Peter Budaj made 42 saves in Colorado's long-sought win.

The Blues got tallies from Andy McDonald, Patrik Berglund and Chris Stewart, and Ty Conklin made 23 stops for St. Louis.
