COL BKB: Duke 79, Georgia Tech 57

DURHAM, N.C., Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Nolan Smith scored 28 points, grabbed seven rebounds and handed out four assists Sunday, powering No. 5 Duke's 79-57 victory over Georgia Tech.

Kyle Singler added 15 points and nine rebounds and Ryan Kelly had 10 points for the Blue Devils (25-2, 12-1 ACC), who logged their 10th straight conference win and an NCAA-best 34th consecutive home victory.

The Blue Devils took control of the game when they went on a 9-0 run to close the first half, sparked by Seth Currey's 3-pointer with 3 minutes to go, and went on to lead by as many as 24 points.

Maurice Miller and Iman Shumpert each notched 13 points for the Yellowjackets (11-15, 3-9), losers of 15 straight on the road.
