NHL: Chicago 7, Columbus 4

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Jonathan Toews collected a goal and two assists Tuesday and the Chicago Blackhawks came off the All-Star break with a 7-4 win over Columbus.

Trailing 3-2 early in the second period, the Blackhawks responded with four straight tallies. Toews' marker came with 40 seconds left in the second period and put Chicago ahead 5-3.

Patrick Kane and Marian Hossa each accounted for a goal and an assist and Marty Turco made 29 saves as the Blackhawks broke a two-game losing streak.

The Blue Jackets were led by Derek Dorsett, who notched a goal and a helper as his team went down to its fourth loss in six games.

Steve Mason managed just 17 saves on 22 shots for Columbus before being replaced in the second period by Mathieu Garon, who let in one goal on four shots.
