NBA: Okla. City 124, Washington 117 (2OT)

OKLAHOMA CITY, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Kevin Durant scored 10 points in the second overtime Friday, lifting Oklahoma City to a 124-117 victory that kept Washington winless on the road this season.

The Wizards came tantalizingly close to their first victory away from home, only to see their road losing streak extended to 22 games.

Durant scored 40 points and Russell Westbrook had a huge triple-double with 35 points, 13 rebounds and 13 assists in bringing the Thunder their second straight win. Durant's NBA-best points-per-game average was increased to 28.8.

Washington's Nick Young made a jumper with 13 seconds left in the fourth period to tie it and Durant missed a chance to end the contest in regulation when he failed on a 3-point try just before the buzzer.

At the end of the first overtime, Rashard Lewis of the Wizards rebounded a shot by Young and then missed a tip-in that would have won it.

Young put Washington in front 115-112 in the first minute of the second overtime but the Wizards could score only two more points the rest of the way.
