NBA: San Antonio 112, Utah 105

SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker combined for 49 points Wednesday and pushed the San Antonio Spurs to a big early lead en route to a 112-105 victory over Utah.

The Spurs won for the 39th time in 46 games this season despite allowing the Jazz to shoot 54 percent from the field. Utah lost its sixth straight.

Ginobili scored 26 points and Parker had six assists to go with his 23 points. Richard Jefferson added 14 points for the Spurs and Gary Neal had 13.

San Antonio opened the second period with a 17-4 run that gave the Spurs a 46-29 advantage. Utah came no closer than six points the rest of the way, and that was in the final minute.

Deron Williams made 16-of-24 shots and led Utah with 39 points. Al Jefferson had 22.
