NBA: Houston 129, Minnesota 125

MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Houston's Kevin Martin pumped in 34 points Monday and the Rockets downed Minnesota 129-125, their 13th straight win over the Timberwolves.

Luis Scola contributed 20 points and 12 rebounds, Shane Battier added 19 points and Aaron Brooks donated 15 off the bench for the Rockets, who won for the fourth time in six games.

Houston hasn't lost to Minnesota since January 2007.

Kevin Love starred for the Timberwolves, posting 24 points and 17 rebounds for his 30th straight double-double.

Wesley Johnson put in 19 points as Minnesota lost for the ninth time in 10 games.
