COL BKB: Wisconsin 76, Illinois 66

MADISON, Wis., Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Jon Leuer scored 26 points and pulled down nine rebounds Saturday, sparking No. 21 Wisconsin to a 76-66 win over 16th-ranked Illinois.

Leuer connected on 9-of-16 shots from the field and Jordan Taylor went 16-of-18 from the free-throw line en route to 22 points for the Badgers (13-4, 3-2 Big Ten), who won their 13th straight home game.

Keaton Nankivil added 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds, and Wisconsin capitalized from the charity stripe, hitting 34-of-41 foul shots in the win.

Demetri McCamey was also active at the free-throw line for the Illini (13-5, 3-2), connecting on 17-of-21 foul shots and scoring 23 points overall in the loss.

Brandon Paul added 15 points off the bench for Illinois.
