Radim Vrbata gave Phoenix the lead on a power-play goal 2:05 into the game and it was still a 1-0 contest heading into the third. The Coyotes then broke things open with scores from Shane Doan, Taylor Pyatt and Lauri Korpikoski during the opening half of the final period.

It was the 11th goal of the season for all three players.

Colby Armstrong ended Bryzgalov's shutout bid with 3:52 remaining. Keith Yandle added an empty-net goal for the Coyotes to finish the scoring.

James Reimer, who has been filling in for the injured Jean-Sebastien Giguere, gave up four goals on just 20 shots to take the loss. Reimer had won four of his previous five starts with a 1.92 goals-against average.
