PITTSBURGH, Dec. 28 (UPI) -- Sidney Crosby netted a pair of goals Tuesday, stretching his points streak to 25 games in the Pittsburgh Penguins' 6-3 rout of Atlanta.
Crosby struck for two first-period goals and added a pair of assists, raising his point total to 50 during a streak that stretches back to Nov. 5.

Craig Adams scored a shorthanded goal and Chris Kunitz, Mark Letestu and Matt Cooke also lit the lamp as the Penguins won the 16th time in 19 games.
Marc-Andre Fleury survived a shaky outing in goal to collect the victory, stopping 31-of-34 Thrashers shots.
Atlanta dropped its fourth straight despite goals from Evander Kane, Dustin Byfuglien and Eric Boulton.
