NBA: Golden State 109, Portland 102

OAKLAND, Calif., Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Monta Ellis scored eight of his 39 points during a 16-2 blitz in the final 5 minutes Saturday to rally the Golden State Warriors to a 109-102 win over Portland.

The Trail Blazers led by 97-91 after a LaMarcus Aldridge layup before the roof fell in.

David Lee added 21 for Golden State, which won two straight for the first time since Nov. 8 and 10 against Toronto and New York. Dorell Wright had 16 points and eight rebounds.

The Blazers, who had a three-game win streak busted, were led by Wesley Matthews' 25 points.
