FOXBOROUGH, Mass., Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Tom Brady passed for four touchdowns and BenJarvus Green-Ellis rushed for a pair of scores Monday in the New England Patriots' 45-3 rout of the New York Jets.

Brady connected on 21-of-29 passes for 326 yards and wasn't intercepted in a dominating performance, hitting Wes Welker, Deion Branch, Aaron Hernandez and Brandon Tate with scoring strikes.

Green-Ellis carried the ball 18 times for 72 yards, scoring on runs of one and five yards for the Patriots (10-2), who moved one game ahead of the Jets (9-3) in a key AFC East showdown.

Former Jet Danny Woodhead picked up 104 yards on four catches against his ex-teammates.

New England picked off Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez three times and held him to 164 yards passing on 17-of-33 efficiency.

Santonio Holmes made seven grabs for 72 yards and Shonn Greene rushed 64 yards on 13 carries for New York.
