ATLANTA, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Josh Smith poured in 34 points and the Atlanta Hawks posted their seventh win in eight games Tuesday, 116-101 over New Jersey.
Smith went 14-of-16 from the field and Jamal Crawford had his best scoring night of the season with 26 points for the Hawks, who connected on 60.3 percent of their shots.

Al Horford contributed 24 points and 10 rebounds in Atlanta's victory.
The Nets, who lost for the 10th time in 12 games, got 24 points from Brook Lopez while Devin Harris donated 18 points and 13 assists.
