NBA: Oklahoma City 95, New Orleans 89

OKLAHOMA CITY, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- Russell Westbrook scored 12 of his 25 points down the stretch Monday and the Oklahoma City Thunder beat New Orleans 95-89.

Westbrook's driving layup with 2:24 left put the Thunder up by four at 85-81 and he followed that up with a 3-pointer less than a minute later to ice the contest for Oklahoma City.

Westbrook also dished off 11 assists and Kevin Durant scored a game-high 26 points for the victors.

The Hornets dropped their fourth game in five outings. They were led by David West's 20 points while Chris Paul scored 17 and distributed 14 assists.
