HOUSTON, Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Kevin Martin and Shane Battier combined for 41 points Sunday, propelling the Houston Rockets to a 99-98 victory over Oklahoma City.
Martin pumped in 23 points and Battier added 18 for the Rockets, who barely hung on for the victory when Kevin Durant missed a potential game winning jumper at the buzzer for the Thunder.

Kyle Lowry contributed 14 points and Luis Scola chipped in 13 for Houston.
Oklahoma City was led by Russell Westbrook, who scored 23 points and distributed 10 assists, and Durant, who finished with 18 points.
