PHOENIX, Oct. 6 (UPI) -- Untested rookie Max Hall will start at quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals' next game, a source told The Arizona Republic Wednesday.

The newspaper said its source indicated Hall has been tapped to replace struggling six-year veteran Derek Anderson for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints.

Anderson, who replaced Matt Leinart as starting signal-caller midway through the pre-season, has been picked off five times and has the lowest passer rating in the NFL at 59.5.

The Cardinals (2-2) are coming off a 41-10 loss at the hands of the San Diego Chargers last Sunday.

Hall is a rookie free agent out of Brigham Young. He completed 8-of-14 passes for 82 yards after replacing Anderson in Sunday's loss.
