MLB: Cleveland 7, Chicago White Sox 3

CHICAGO, Oct. 2 (UPI) -- Shin-Soo Choo hit a two-run homer in the second Friday and Trevor Crowe had two RBI in carrying the Cleveland Indians to a 7-3 win over the Chicago White Sox.

The Indians have won seven games in a row, their longest such streak since August 2008.

Choo continued a hot streak that saw him hit six homers with 25 RBI in September while playing in 27 games. He has hit 22 home runs this season.

Fausto Carmona (13-14) picked up the win by working six innings, during which he gave up two runs on five hits with seven strikeouts. He has a 3-0 record this year against Chicago.

The White Sox had won their previous three games. Tony Pena was touched for nine hits and six runs in six innings to take the loss.
