NORMAN, Okla., Sept. 18 (UPI) -- DeMarco Murray's 17-yard, third-quarter touchdown reception Saturday boosted No. 9 Oklahoma to a 27-24 decision over Air Force.

Murray also ran for a pair of scores for the Sooners (3-0), finishing with 110 yards on the ground to help Oklahoma extend the nation's longest home winning streak to 33 games.

Landry Jones completed 26 of his 42 passing attempts for Oklahoma, racking up 254 yards with the touchdown toss to Murray and no interceptions.

Jones guided the Sooners to 13 passing first downs while the Falcons (2-1) were limited to five.

Air Force got fourth-quarter rushing touchdowns from Jared Tew and Kyle Halderman but fell short in its upset bid.
