MIAMI, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- Cody Ross and Hector Luna finished off an offensive show with solo homers in the eighth Friday, helping boost the Florida Marlins to a 9-0 romp over Houston.

Anibal Sanchez (10-8) allowed three hits over seven innings and struck out five to get the win. He also had an RBI single during a four-run seventh.

Florida won its fourth straight, getting a two-run single from Dan Uggla in the sixth to open a 3-0 lead and both a sacrifice fly and a run-scoring base hit from Emilio Bonifacio.

J.A. Happ (3-2) took the loss, surrendering three runs on five hits over six innings.

Florida has won nine of its last 10 meetings with Houston in Miami.
