BOSTON, July 18 (UPI) -- Kevin Youkilis drove Marco Scutaro home with an 11th-inning sacrifice fly Saturday, handing the Boston Red Sox a 3-2 victory over the Texas Rangers.
Scutaro drew a walk off Alexi Ogando (3-1) to lead off the 11th and ended up on third when Darnell McDonald laid down a sacrifice bunt and Ogando threw wildly to first.
After David Ortiz was intentionally walked, Darren O'Day came in to pitch and surrendered a run-scoring fly to Youkilis.
It was the Red Sox' first win in three games against the American League West-leading Rangers.
Texas starter Cliff Lee was one out away from a complete game victory in the ninth when Youkilis tied it up on an RBI double, also scoring Scutaro, who had led off the inning with a single.
Manny Delcarmen (3-2) got the win by pitching a scoreless top of the 10th. Boston starter John Lackey gave up two runs on seven hits over seven innings of work.
