
HOUSTON, June 6 (UPI) -- Carlos Lee homered and Pedro Feliz drove in a pair of runs Sunday to power the Houston Astros' 6-3 decision over the Chicago Cubs.
Lee's two-run blast following Lance Berkman's RBI single highlighted a first-inning outburst that saw the Astros post a quick 3-0 lead on Cubs starter Randy Wells (3-4).
Houston chased him in the sixth with another three-run surge capped by Feliz' two-run single, enabling the Astros to take the rubber contest of a three-game series at Minute Maid Park.
Brett Myers (4-3) pitched well to notch the victory, holding Chicago to two runs despite allowing eight hits over 6 2/3 innings.
Matt Lindstrom got his 13th save this year even though he yielded two hits in the ninth Hunter Pence contributed an RBI.
Koyie Hill led the Cubs' offense with an RBI double.
