PITTSBURGH, May 9 (UPI) -- The Pittsburgh Penguins took the lead in their Eastern Conference semifinal Saturday with a 2-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens.

Sergei Gonchar and Kris Letang scored for the Penguins and Canadien Michael Cammalleri got the Montreal goal, fouling Penguin goalie Marc-Andre Fleury's chance of a shutout in the final minute. Fleury blocked 32 shots in the win.

The Penguins are 3-2 in the best-of-seven series. The teams meet again Monday in Montreal.
