Pujols socked a bases-clearing, three-run double in the sixth to blow open a 3-0 game and David Freese went 3-for-4 with his third home run of the season as the Cards took the rubber match of a three-game weekend series.

St. Louis has won seven of eight series to begin the season.

Aaron Harang (1-4) turned in a quality start, allowing three runs on seven hits in six innings, but it wasn't enough as the Reds dropped their second straight after winning five in a row.
